The piece originated from a short character piece I composed titled “Incantation and Dance.” Later, I saw the potential to expand it into a multi-movement work, so I added two additional movements: “Enigma” and “Diabolic Rhapsody.” Together, they form a threemovement composition, each with its own distinct character.

I. Incantation and Dance This movement begins with a brief, magical introduction before moving into fast, contrapuntal melodic lines that flow seamlessly into the following movement.

II. Enigma A slow, sorrowful, and mysterious movement. The music unfolds in an unending melodic line, creating a sense of timelessness.

III. Diabolic Rhapsody The longest and most dramatic movement. Its middle section presents a contrasting calm, peaceful and lyrical before surging into powerful emotions and heightened excitement to conclude the work.
